Washington LICSW offering telehealth therapy for women
Seattle will always be close to my heart. It was my home for 20 years. In the summer I ride my motorcycle out to Seattle to see old friends I left behind when I moved back home to Chicago. I worked at non-profits in Seattle for 20 years and have provided telehealth therapy for women in Washington State for over 6 years now.
Seasonal In-Person Sessions in Seattle

I maintained full licensure in Washington State. Because of this, in addition to offering telehealth therapy services for women in Washington state, I offer in-person services when I am there. Although I don’t have an office space in Seattle, I offer a limited number of walk and talk sessions for women who are currently clients. This is, of course, subject to scheduling and appropriateness. Not everyone wants walk and talk. For some people it helps with processing emotions while moving. It can reduce anxiety and obviously Seattle is full of beautiful options. I have met clients at Alki Beach, Golden Gardens, Green Lake and Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill. I always have clients sign a consent form and we make sure that we have plans for how to protect confidentiality in that context.

Private Pay Benefits
It is my choice to not work with insurance companies. This offers important advantages: complete privacy with no diagnoses reported to insurance, treatment tailored to what you need rather than what insurance dictates, and no pre-authorization delays. It’s a straight-forward process from our first conversation to ongoing sessions.
